We partnered with ClubIntel with two specific objectives in mind – to evaluate our membership structure and make recommendations based on research and trends in local and national markets; and, to analyze each line of business within the Club for potential operational opportunities and efficiencies. Their comprehensive process included a member survey, interviews with key stakeholders, local and national competitive-set research, and a financial analysis with recommendations. The insights gained through each step, accompanied by Steve and Mark’s professional experience, were key in developing a strategic plan. While the recommendations that we implemented to improve departmental operations were helpful, the greater benefit realized at Boar’s Head has been the impact on membership growth and retention – both trending positively since changes were introduced. Steve and Mark are true professionals with a sound understanding of the private club industry and are a pleasure to work with.
