The International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association (IHRSA) is the trade association serving the health and fitness club industry. IHRSA’s mission is to grow, protect and promote the health and fitness industry, and to provide its members with benefits that will help them be more successful.
IHRSA and its members (health clubs and fitness facilities, gyms, spas, sports clubs, and industry suppliers) are dedicated to making the world healthier through regular exercise and activity promotion.
The Association of Fitness Studios
The Association of Fitness Studios (AFS) is a membership organization dedicated to building the community of studio owners by providing a wide array of business-specific products, services, and benefits that will enable them more effectively manage and grow their businesses, building on the passion, compassion and courage they’ve already shown. Previously, there was no such business-centric, trade association dedicated solely for fitness studios.
Most of the challenges of studio ownership are universal. Through sharing of information and best practices and delivery of the tools necessary to enhance management efficiency, marketability, and profitability AFS is the direct link between studio owners, suppliers, fitness professionals, and consumers – connecting all segments of this vibrant industry.
American Council on Exercise
The American Council on Exercise (ACE) is a nonprofit organization committed to enriching quality of life through safe and effective exercise and physical activity. As America’s Authority on Fitness, ACE protects all segments of society against ineffective fitness products, programs and trends through its ongoing public education, outreach and research. ACE further protects the public by setting certification and continuing education standards for fitness professionals.
The Club Spa and Fitness Association
The Club Spa and Fitness Association (CSFA) is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2007 to serve fitness and spa professionals in the private club industry. The CSFA Board and Committees strive to provide its members with unparalleled educational resources and networking opportunities that are intended to enhance the level of professionalism among fitness and spa professionals in the private club industry.

Europe Active is the European Association that provides the unique voice for the fitness, physical activity, and wellbeing sector at the EU level in Brussels, with the aim to get more people, more active, more often.
